THE APARTMENT

This new air-conditioned apartment with uninterrupted valley views is situated in a quiet part of the popular Pueblo Montecala development set in the beautiful location of Cumbre Del Sol (Summit of the Sun).
The views from all over Cumbre are spectacular, looking up the coast towards Cabo San Antonio in the north to the famous Peñon de Ifach in the south.

It has easy access to a beautifully appointed, private pool complex ( with children's area)  and a short drive will take you to the local beach which is ideal for family holidays.
The bright and airy open plan living area is tastefully furnished in contemporary style and equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable with minimal maintenance. It has  a futon type double sofa-bed, two armchairs, coffee/games table and TV/storage unit. Cabled satellite TV with English channels, DVD player, CD/radio music system, books and games.

The lounge has hot and cold air-conditioning and patio doors leading directly to the  terrace.
 The dining area has a family sized table and six chairs. Crockery, glassware and cutlery is provided. The fully fitted modern kitchen is equipped with a large fridge-freezer, gas hobs, electric oven, extractor hood, stainless steel sink and drainer, microwave, kettle, toaster, saucepans and cooking utensils.
Adjacent to the kitchen, the utility room  provides useful storage and is equipped  with an automatic washing machine, ironing board, iron, dustpan, brushes and cleaning materials. There is a fully tiled modern bathroom with low-level WC,  walk-in shower enclosure, large wash basin and mirrored wall cabinet. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, two bedside cabinets with reading lamps, a large wardrobe and chest of drawers with mirror. Bedroom 2 has full-sized pine bunk-beds, a bedside cabinet, wardrobe and full length mirror.
From the  living room  patio doors open onto the south facing illuminated terrace which has both open and shaded areas with patio table, chairs, parasol and 2 sun-loungers. The perfect place for alfresco dining and to watch the  spectacular sunsets over the Sierra Bernia mountains.
The accommodation is all on one level - however as it is  accessed from the road by two flights of steps it may not be suitable for people with severe mobility problems. Car hire is recommended as the landscape in this part of the Cumbre is dramatically steep.

LOCAL AMENITIES

Rental of the apartment includes security key access to a private, gated  swimming pool complex with 2 large pools (both with children’s areas), extensive sunbathing space, sun-loungers and showers.
The adjacent Monte Vista bistro bar is open all year  serving cooked breakfasts during the day, evening meals and snacks. Equipped with poolside WiFi internet connection.
The nearby Lirios Commercial Centre has  Chinese and European restaurants, bars shops, hairdresser, diy store, bank, estate agent and children's playground within walking distance.
Elsewhere on Cumbre del Sol, at the Adelfas Centre you'll find more excellent restaurants, an international supermarket, banks, and a pharmacy. For the more energetic there are also tennis courts and a horse riding centre.
 

At the foot of the mountain in a picturesque cove, lies the secluded Playa del Moraig, a lovely pebble beach used almost entirely by local residents and renowned for quality snorkelling and diving. Facilities include a small beach-bar, toilets, and the hire of sun-beds and parasols.
The fitter or more adventurous could walk down the hill to the beach, but for most it would be a 4 or 5 minute drive. Alternatively, the resort towns of Moraira and Javea with their beautiful sandy beaches are both about a 10 minute drive away with many other places to explore in the beautiful Marina Alta area.
